Today it’s been precisely 25 years since the appearance of the first smiley, without which no Web talks are possible. This six-piece set of smileys designed as different color cushions is good for all children, age three to hundred year olds.
“Ana is the pet name for anorexia. The term was established by a pro-anorexia movement in the U.S.A. The naming ana symbolises the belittlement or even ignorance of this psychosomatic illness. The photographs of anorexic women were taken in two psychosomatic clinics in Germany. I tended to illustrate the “living reality” of these women, their emotional world and their shifted perception of realness.” - Sybille Fendt.
